1. TCP Acceleration
Description: Emulates
connectionful packets using
connectionless, high-speed
protocols. It Not QoS (Quality of
Service) which can only
prioritize selected traffic, it can
optimize any and all network
traffic.
Benefits: Speed and multimedia acceleration.
2. Web Portal (V12 Cloud)
Description: Secure web
interface and portal.
Benefits: It is a dynamic web presence based solely on the user’s customizable needs/resources and delivered to any location.
3. Connection Access Bridge (CAB)
Description: Emulates
connectionful packets using
connectionless, high-speed
protocols. It Not QoS (Quality of
Service) which can only
prioritize selected traffic, it can
optimize any and all network
traffic.
Benefits: Speed and multimedia acceleration.
4. Broker (Citrix)
Description: XEN Desktop (ICA Stream Publisher) – Broker’s pooled desktops based on directory services security groups. It is not RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) which requires high bandwidth and low latency networking. ICA can operate in low bandwidth, high latency environments and still offer a richer feature set than RDP.
Benefits: Allows resources to be allocated to
users based on user account name.
5. Thin Client
Description: V12 is a system which maintains itself through
true “lights out” operations dependent on
multiple Layers of Abstraction and multiple
Piers of ISP bandwidth..
Benefits: Allows resources to be allocated to
users based on user account name.
6. Profile Manager (User Data Streams)
Description: NEC hardware
with proprietary multimedia
accelerator. (Models range
from a desktop with no local
storage to advanced models
with embedded XPe and
storage, to laptops and
tablets.) This component boasts to be the only
multimedia thin client to leverage front-end and
back-end processing presently in the market.
Benefits: Allows resources to be allocated to
users based on user account name.
7. Application Virtualization
(Application Streams)
Description: Dynamic
applications based on
individual user coupled with
built in sand-boxing.
Standard desktop includes XP
and latest MS Office Suite or
other versions running
simultaneously. Exchange, Blackberry, other PDA
services and Applications can also be added and
managed, though a monthly maintenance fee may
be required per application, NOT per seat. All
software is COTS (Commercial-off-the-Shelf), not
proprietarily programmed substitutes. Application
compatibility is not constrained to OS presentation.
Benefits: Allows resources to be allocated to
users based on user account name.
8. Logical (Non-Persistent) Desktops
Description: (VDI2) The
image of an image with
real-time provisioning.
It is not emulated; a true
non-persistent environment
where no bits can be
physiologically saved to the
image.
Benefits: Imaged, virtual PC
that never changes.
9. VMWare Host (VSA Virtual Images)
Description: Utilizes internal
NAT network address for
encryption offloading and the
secure access server (SAS).
Benefits: Client end
security/password management.
|
10. ISCSI SAN (VSA Storage)
Description: Storage
virtualization via 3rd Gen
SAN Technology that is IPbased
which in essence
allows any data source to
be physically connected to
any physical or logical
resource. Unparalleled
chassis redundancy and
synchronous replication solidifies this technology
as the hands down best-of- bread storage
solution in today’s market.
Benefits: Centralized data management,
centralized image management, and centralized
hardware management completely capable of
reaching any physical resource that IP can reach.
11. BCS (Business Continuity)
Description: It is the corner
stone to the V12 solution.
BCS brings complete, realtime,
100% redundancy to
the main infrastructure
services such as Active
Directory, Exchange, SQL,
and all Microsoft Resources
including every
server/service in the V12 platform.
Benefits: Zero-day down time eliminated.
12. Client Management Services
(Full Spectrum
Management)
Description: Client
Management is an
intricately secured real time
web-based management
interface where end users
can update, modify, change
their own software
environments/Virtual
Desktops without the help of an engineer.
Administrators leverage control of their front end
thin clients and back end environments including
servers. A complete virtual desktop and virtual
server provisioning system.
Benefits: Centralized management of all resources
and hands-off maintenance. A True “Lights-Out”
Operation. Controlled processes and
environments keep the business running smoothly.
